This small-group cultural tour focuses on visiting historical churches, experiencing Eastern Christian art and music, interacting with local people, and enjoying a variety of cuisines, but also allows time for spontaneous experiences.

If you enjoy Christian history, natural beauty, sites of historical importance, culture and civilization, wine, local cuisine, Eastern chant, and learning about new places, this is a trip for you!

A deposit of $1000 per person is due by February 1, 2020.

The Way of St. Lawrence

An Educational Trip for Permanent deacons and their Spouses

September 24 - October 2, 2020   

$3900 per person, double room; $295 pp single supplement (Airfare from Louisville, KY, room and board, touring coach, guides and entrance fees included)

Tour ancient Rome, visit the Vatican Museums, the Niccoline Chapel, the catacombs, the Basilica of St. Lawrence, attend a papal audience, and enjoy a day trip to Florence.

We will stay at Residenza Madri Pie - quiet, yet centrally located, a five-minute walk to the Vatican.
