To cancel your room or your registration for a retreat, call 812-357-6611 and ask for Guest Services Reservations or email guestservices@saintmeinrad.edu. There is a $25 nonrefundable deposit.
Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology complies with the refund policy established by the 1992 reauthorization of the Higher Education Act.
The amount of your refund depends on if the withdrawal occurs during:
Week 1: 80 percent refund
Week 2: 60 percent refund
Week 3: 40 percent refund
Week 4: 20 percent refund
After 4 weeks: no refund
If you withdraw before the second weekend, you will receive a 50% refund.
If you withdraw after the first weekend of a course but enroll for the next term, 100% of the tuition charge will be credited toward the new course.
If you withdraw during or after the second weekend, you will receive no refund.
If you withdraw before the end of the fourth week of the semester, you will receive a 50% refund.
If you withdraw after the fourth week, no refund will be given.
Students who need to withdraw from the "Concluding Exercise" will have to re-enroll in a subsequent semester at the full tuition rate.
There is a $100 penalty for dropping an online course within one week of the course start date. Because online courses have limited enrollment, when people drop a course too close to the start date, it often becomes too late for those on the waiting list to get what they need in time to take the course. Thus, the course goes unfilled.

Effective Pastoring Workshops (The Associate Pastor, Gearing up to be a Pastor, and The Newly Appointed Pastor): You can cancel your registration at any time prior to the program and receive a 100% refund.
Pre-retirement Workshop: You can cancel your registration at any time prior to the program and receive a 100% refund, except for a $50 nonrefundable fee (this pays for the Retirement Success Profile for Diocesan Priests).
World Priest Program: You can cancel your registration at any time prior to the program and receive a 100% refund.
Stoking the Fire Sabbatical: If you are accepted into the sabbatical program, the $250 application/deposit fee is nonrefundable. The fee is refunded if the applicant is not accepted into the program.
The $250 application/deposit fee is refunded to any Patricia Kirchdorfer Scholarship recipient upon arrival for the sabbatical, but is forfeited if the scholarship recipient cancels within 30 days of the sabbatical.
Returns will be accepted if the merchandise is defective or if an item of clothing is the wrong size. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. The customer can choose to receive a refund of the purchase price or a replacement of the merchandise.
