This position is a dual role working in our Guest Services Department and Institute for Priests and Presbyterates (IPP) department. This person will provide assistance with the implementation of department programs by helping set up, clean up, and ongoing needs.

In the Guest Services Associate role, you will be the primary ambassador by being the smiling face that provides friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all guests. This position will be responsible for the switchboard, help with reservation details, workshop details, and assist guests with any needs.

This role is responsible for the operations of the Saint Meinrad Archabbey Gift Shop and Scholar Shop in an efficient and profitable manner. The manager will provide products and services in appealing displays that will serve customers. Ensuring all customers are provided excellent customer service is essential. Requirements of this position are:

  • Associate’s degree in business management

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Minimal travel

  • Able to lift 30 lbs. 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience

  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software

  • Able to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings as needed
