Formation for Catechists in Spanish / Formación para Catequistas en Español

Are you passionate about sharing your faith and guiding others in their spiritual journey? The Formation for Catechists in Spanish program, hosted by the Office of Hispanic and Latino Ministry (OHLM), is designed for anyone within the Hispanic/Latino community who seeks to become a certified catechist.

This enriching program consists of seven day-long workshops conducted entirely in Spanish, focused on essential topics that equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed for effective catechesis. OHLM provides this intensive formation opportunity to strengthen catechetical leadership within the Hispanic/Latino community, grounded in the National Directory for Catechesis. Throughout the workshops, you’ll engage in dynamic discussions and collaborative learning, all aimed at deepening your understanding of the Catholic faith and enhancing your teaching abilities.

Once you complete the two-year series of workshops you will receive your Catechist Certificate. We will offer another round so that others who wish to can also earn their catechist certificate, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to join and benefit from this vital formation.

El programa de Formación para Catequistas en Español, organizado por la Oficina de Ministerios Hispano y Latino (OHLM), está diseñado para cualquier persona dentro de la comunidad Hispana/Latina que desee convertirse en catequista certificado.

Este enriquecedor programa consta de siete talleres de un día, impartidos completamente en español, que se enfocan en temas esenciales para equipar a los participantes con el conocimiento y las habilidades necesarias para una catequesis efectiva. OHLM ofrece esta oportunidad de formación intensiva para fortalecer el liderazgo catequético dentro de la comunidad Hispana/Latina, basado en el Directorio Nacional para la Catequesis. A lo largo de los talleres, participarás en discusiones dinámicas, actividades interactivas y un aprendizaje colaborativo, todo con el objetivo de profundizar tu comprensión de la fe católica y mejorar tus habilidades de enseñanza.

Una vez que completes la seria de talleres de dos años recibirás tu Certificado de Catequista. Ofreceremos otra ronda para aquellos que deseen obtener su Certificado de Catequista tengan también la oportunidad de hacerlo, asegurando que todos tengan la oportunidad de unirse y beneficiarse de esta formación vital.
