After the adventurous Advent journey of faith in preparation for the reception of Our Lord Jesus in our lives and above all in our hearts during Christmas, here come the tiny steps to a new year. Graced by Jesus’ call for love for all, after God, the new year invites us to embrace the Child Jesus’ love for us.
The new year unfolds the newness in everything. Nonetheless, unless our hearts are made new in Christ, it might still be the new but old year. 2026, here we are, full of hope, full of pursuit of virtues and more focus on the Child Jesus, who reveals Himself in every Mass across the globe. He invites each and every one to His banquet, including the young ones who receive Him by desire too. Remember to keep your liturgical calendars closer this year; there are so many graces in the solemnities and feasts which you and the little ones should not miss!
May the love of Christ flow through you to the young ones. May the young ones see in your deeds during this new year all the good gifts God has blessed you with. May the blessings of God, who invites us to be like little children, be upon us all. May God’s promises to all of us, children of God, be fulfilled in this year, 2026, in accordance with His will, Amen.
