Introduction
Are you someone who likes creating meaningful, memorable moments for guests? We're hiring a Director of Guest Services.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the overall guest experience, including lodging, coordination of meals and events, housekeeping, and coordination of room maintenance.
- Responsible for developing, planning, oversight, and management of space used and programs for guest services.
- Coordinate with Director of Retreat Programs to support the Retreat Program.
- Maintain customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff.
- Provide staff with leadership, performance development, and training.
- Maintain POS software.
- Prepare and monitor annual budget.
- Prepare and balance daily cash, credit card, checks, inter-departmental charges.
- Available to work evenings and weekends plus be able to contact for after-hours questions/requests.
- Other duties as requested.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to interact with a diverse group of people
- Have an understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to multi-task
