Introduction

Are you someone who likes creating meaningful, memorable moments for guests? We're hiring a Director of Guest Services. 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall guest experience, including lodging, coordination of meals and events, housekeeping, and coordination of room maintenance.
  • Responsible for developing, planning, oversight, and management of space used and programs for guest services.
  • Coordinate with Director of Retreat Programs to support the Retreat Program.
  • Maintain customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate staff.
  • Provide staff with leadership, performance development, and training.
  • Maintain POS software.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budget.
  • Prepare and balance daily cash, credit card, checks, inter-departmental charges.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends plus be able to contact for after-hours questions/requests.
  • Other duties as requested.

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of people
  • Have an understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to multi-task
