Students who successfully complete the 18-credit specialization certificate in Ethics and Moral Theology will:
Establish broad foundation of knowledge concerning ethics and morality;
Apply ethical and moral principles to contemporary life issues.
Ethics and Natural Law (3 credits). We recommend completion of this philosophy requirement prior to other courses.
Christian Anthropology or Theology of the Body (3 credits)
Fundamental Moral Theology or Christian Ethics (3 credits)
9 additional credits selected from the Moral Theology category (courses starting 15:xxx). Elective courses might include Catholic Social Ethics, Catholic Sexual and Medical Ethics, Directed Research Project, or other courses approved by the Director of Graduate Theology Programs.
