Those serving full-time as campus missionaries for the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) are eligible for a full-tuition scholarship at Saint Meinrad’s Graduate Theology Program. In recognition of missionaries’ service on campuses throughout the country, the scholarship is intended to make a flexible theological education affordable for those actively serving. The full-tuition scholarship will support part-time study covering the tuition cost of up to four courses per year (12 credits). Up to three candidates may be selected for the scholarship. Those interested in the FOCUS Missionary Scholarship must submit a complete M.A. application by the deadline of July 1, 2026.
Visit the Graduate Theology Program’s home page at www.saintmeinrad.edu/grad to learn more about our Master of Arts in Theology. Request more information about the FOCUS Missionary Scholarship from the Admissions Office by clicking here.
Candidates will be required to verify their status as full-time FOCUS missionaries by providing an attestation form to their FOCUS supervisor. The supervisor will then submit the attestation form to Saint Meinrad Admissions Office at apply@saintmeinrad.edu.
The scholarship will only cover tuition and does not include fees such as application, matriculation, course, or graduation fees. Current fees may be found at the following web page: https://www.saintmeinrad.edu/graduate-theology/cost-and-finances/.
Candidates who receive the FOCUS Missionary Scholarship will continue to be eligible for the scholarship as long as they are active full-time FOCUS missionaries. If scholarship recipients are no longer full-time FOCUS missionaries, they become ineligible for the full-tuition scholarship, but they may apply for other forms of generous financial aid including the Lay Ministry Grant. More information about alternative financial aid can be found at this web page: https://www.saintmeinrad.edu/graduate-theology/financial-aid/.
