The "One Bread, One Cup" College Internship Program is a
six-week summer program for college students. The internship
provides young adults throughout North America an opportunity to
participate and be formed in the Benedictine tradition
During the internship, the students live within an intentional
Christian community at a Roman Catholic monastery while studying
and ministering at its Seminary and School of Theology. Interns
serve as staff, catechists and theological reflection group leaders
during the "One Bread, One Cup" Summer
Conferences.
Interns participate in the daily liturgical life of the Roman
Catholic Church. This internship provides college students with a
balance of theory and practice in today's Church. Often
participants earn academic credit by completing a required
internship or arranging for an independent study.
Schedule and Accomodations
College internships begin the first Friday of June and conclude
in mid-July. Interns reside at Saint Meinrad for the duration of
the internship.
