TREASURER/BUSINESS MANAGER

Introduction
Saint Meinrad Archabbey is seeking a qualified individual to
assume this full-time position. The Archabbey operates Saint
Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, Abbey Press, and Abbey
Caskets.
The Treasurer/Business Manager provides business leadership to
the entire Archabbey complex. This includes stewardship of the
Archabbey's financial, human, and physical assets.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide business leadership to the entire Saint Meinrad
Archabbey complex by developing, administering, and managing its
long-term business and financial policies.
- Provide stewardship of the Archabbey's financial, human, and
physical resources through the ongoing management of those
individuals directly responsible for the day-to-day operation of
these areas.
- Provide leadership to the Abbey Press General Manager, Director
of Abbey Caskets, Assistant Treasurer, Director of Human Resources,
and the Director of Physical Facilities in the area of professional
development by (1) removing obstacles that prohibit them from
optimizing their professional potential, (2) identifying,
developing, and nurturing their own leadership potential.
- Provide leadership to the entire organization by developing an
institutional-wide vision through participation on the Archabbot's
Council, as requested, the President-Rector's Cabinet, and the
Abbey Press Advisory Board.
- Provide a specific emphasis on the long-term stewardship of the
institution's endowment portfolio through the ongoing
oversight of all endowment and investment assets.
Experience & Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting/finance, as
well as a minimum of eight years work experience. Some experience
in an institution of higher education is preferred.
