Welcome
The Benedictine tradition came to the Midwest in the 1850s, when
the Swiss Abbey of Einsiedeln sent two monks to Indiana to start a
new foundation.
Today, we are a thriving community of 90+ monks who pray, work
and live together.
Visit Us
Visitors are always welcome. Join us any day at prayer or Mass
in the Archabbey Church or tour our historic buildings and peaceful
