Mexican American Catholic College: Formation for Hispanic Ministry
The Mexican American Catholic College, located in San Antonio, Texas, offers an intensive Spanish-language program during the fall or spring semesters, as well as during the summer. It is taught at three levels-beginner, intermediate and advanced-emphasizing speaking and hearing Spanish for pastoral ministry.
Opportunities for intensive Spanish programs during the same time periods can be arranged at language schools in Mexico. These programs award course credit and involve additional costs. Scholarships are available. Email the director of Hispanic ministry for more information.
Mexican American Catholic College: Mini Pastoral
The Mexican American Catholic College offers a three-week intensive introductory program to Hispanic ministry. The program combines lectures, seminars and reflections with films, field trips and cultural events.
There is an additional charge for this program. Students receive two credit hours for their participation. Email the director of Hispanic ministry for more information.
Summer Spanish Immersion
Through overseas partner institutions, this 10-week intensive program provides the equivalent of two semesters of Spanish studies. Students must participate in an orientation, an on-site visitation from the professor of record, and register with both Saint Meinrad and the partner institution.

Rome: An Experience in Christian Art and Architecture
The Seminary and School of Theology sponsors an annual three-week trip to Europe during the January Interterm. A two-week stay in Rome includes several tours and an exposure to ancient Roman and early Christian culture, as well as the opportunity for additional travel in Europe. This involves additional costs. Students may earn two credit hours for participating.
