For the Life of the Church

The Project

Renovating St. Bede Hall's 49,000+ square feet of space provided an opportunity for the Seminary and School of Theology programs to continue to expand and flourish. The programs are already successful; renovating this solidly built structure created a flexible, functional, comfortable learning environment that enables more people to take advantage of them.

The renovation work maintains and makes the best use of a well-constructed sandstone building that has been serving the School since the early 1950s.

Here's how Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology programs are benefiting from the renovation:

Institute for Priests and Presbyterates

Lay Degree Program

Permanent Deacon Formation Program

"One Bread, One Cup" Program

Office of Group Accommodations

The Office of Group Accommodations welcomes many guests to Saint Meinrad each year and brings in revenue to supplement other School programs.
