Fr. Bernie Etienne

Fr. Bernie Etienne is the vicar general for the
Diocese of Evansville. He graduated from Indiana University with a
Bachelor of Science in marketing and from Mundelein Seminary with
Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Sacred Theology degrees.
He was ordained in 1993. For 15 years, Fr. Bernie served as the
Diocese of Evansville's vocations director.
For a number of years, he also served as chaplain for the Teens
Encounter Christ retreats. He is the pastor of Holy Rosary Parish
in Evansville and dean of the Evansville East Deanery.
Fr. Bernie is a 2013 recipient of the National Catholic
Education Association's "Distinguished Pastor Award."
