Fr. Patrick was ordained on June 1, 1991, for the Diocese of Belleville.

In 1994, he came to the Saint Meinrad community, and professed vows as a Benedictine monk on August 6, 1995. He professed his final vows on August 15, 1998.

Fr. Patrick teaches canon law at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. He also works fulltime in the tribunal for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He is a retired chaplain for the Kentucky Air National Guard.
