Prior Work/Life Experience: I worked for
my father at his Shell Service Station during high school and
during college at Our Lady of Peace Hospital, both in Louisville,
Kentucky.
Other Interests: I currently serve as the
president of the Lincoln Boyhood Drama Association, which oversees
the operations of the 1,500-seat amphitheatre at Lincoln State Park
in Spencer County, Indiana.
I also enjoy the opportunity for ministry to the prisoners at
the Branchville Correctional Facility in neighboring Perry County,
Indiana.
What Attracted Me to Monastic Life: I
began my interest in becoming a member of the Saint Meinrad
monastic community as soon as I enrolled in the High School here.
My association with the monks and the way of life I witnessed was
the main draw, but the beauty of the liturgy and the physical
surroundings were very powerfully attractive.
